When I read these verses I cannot help but wonder about the current state of the Christian Church in the world. It is so terribly divided that even the divisions can’t manage to remain undivided! How strong we would be if only we could set aside our differences and focus on Christ and his teachings; “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and spirit” and “Love your neighbor as yourself”. He didn’t say, “Judge your neighbor or fellow Christian”! As I recall, we are to let God do the judging if any is to be done. Our instruction is to LOVE! What an unimaginably wonderful world we could have!
