Encountering God in Creation: Photos from our youth

As part of our photo project to share the ways we see God in creation, Lex has encouraged everyone to do a walking meditation.  This means slowing our pace, opening our eyes, and walking intentionally and prayerfully.  One example of something to say, either silently or aloud, is, "The Lord is my Shepherd, I have all that I need."  When we pause long enough to recognize the many ways that God provides, the truth of this statement becomes even more apparent.

In light of this, our youth group went for a prayerful walk today in order to recognize the beauty of God in creation.  Here are a few of the photos our youth took.

Where do you see God in the world around you?  Try going on a walking meditation this week and take some pictures.  E-mail them to brian@stthomasmedina.org and we'll share them!
