Gratitude

Dear St Thomas and St Margaret's Mission Trippers: We are all so grateful for your commitment to serve in a part of the world that feels a little different from the Northwest! The life and ministry of Dr Perkins are a mighty witness to the power of Love to overcome fear and hate. In fact, St John reminds us that "Perfect love---and by that he means the Love of Christ---casts out fear", and fear is always what gives birth to hate. We are eagerly awaiting further news of your own ministries and experiences in the Deep South. You have much to learn there and then much to teach us when you return. Stay cool and may you know the Deep Peace of the Prince of Peace. Faithfully, Lex

  1. Thanks Lex for your prayers and encouragement. We have been truly blessed in our time here thus far. Listening to Dr. Perkins is like sitting at the feet of Jesus. He is a Godly man filled with wisdom and great love for God and God's people. His passion for youth is incredible and he challenges as well as encourages us. We are learning how reconciliation is the pathway to justice and peace - not the end point.
Again, thanks for your prayers and those of your community. Missy Couch (co-chef)
